I like mung dal too. I sometimes also use whole mung beans. 

You can also add 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder and cumin powder. 

I would like to suggest that when you make seasoning, add a little cumin seeds along with mustard seeds. That will give it good flavor too!</description>
